PERSONAL DATA

A prerequisite for commencing our business relationship is the provision of certain personal data by you.

In order to place an order, we will ask you to provide your full name, the address to which the products will be delivered, your telephone number, your email address and, if you choose to pay by credit card, your card number and expiry date.

This information will under no circumstances be disclosed, published or sold to third parties, unless this is required by a Public Authority (court, etc.).

Your sensitive payment information is transmitted to the competent bank (e.g. credit card number) and is DELETED from our database immediately after completion of your order, thereby ensuring an even higher level of security.

SECURITY

For your security, the website www.texi.gr does not request, nor does it store, your credit card details.

If, during the final stage of your order, you choose to pay by credit card, you will be redirected to a secure website operated by Eurobank Cards, a subsidiary of Eurobank Bank, where you will enter your card details in a secure environment.

These details are transmitted in encrypted form using SSL technology, so that they cannot be read or altered during their transmission over the Internet, exclusively to Eurobank Cards for the verification of the card and the processing of the transaction.

Eurobank Cards will subsequently notify www.texi.gr whether or not the transaction has been successfully completed.

At no stage of this process does www.texi.gr have access to your credit card details.

PRODUCTS SOLD

Eleni Nikolopoulou & Co. O.E. is committed to the quality, completeness and accuracy of the information provided on its website, www.texi.gr, both with regard to the exact product details displayed and the services provided by its online store, subject to any technical or typographical errors that cannot be foreseen or that may have occurred unintentionally, as well as interruptions to the operation of the website due to force majeure.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Eleni Nikolopoulou & Co. O.E. shall not be liable to customers/users for any damages that may arise from the execution or non-execution of their orders.
The company also reserves the right regarding delivery times in cases of force majeure. The online store www.texi.gr cannot guarantee the availability of products, but guarantees that end consumers will be informed promptly in the event that a product is unavailable.
Under no circumstances shall the online store be liable for any legal, civil and/or criminal claims, nor for any damages (actual, special or consequential, including, indicatively and without limitation, loss of profits, loss of data, lost profits, financial compensation, etc.) suffered by visitors to the website or third parties for any reason related to the operation or non-operation and/or use of the website, and/or the inability to provide services and/or information made available through it, and/or any unauthorized intervention by third parties in products and/or services and/or information made available through it.

MISCELLANEOUS

Force Majeure:
If, due to force majeure (e.g. adverse weather conditions, strikes, etc.), we are unable to deliver your products within the specified delivery time, we will notify you by email.

Amendment of these Terms:
www.texi.gr reserves the right to amend or update the terms and conditions of transactions. The company undertakes to update this text whenever any change or addition is made to the terms.

PRICES OF PRODUCTS

The prices displayed in the relevant product listings include VAT.

www.texi.gr reserves the right to adjust its prices.

RETURNS

The customer has the right to return a product within 14 days from the date of purchase if the product does not meet their expectations or is defective, and to request either its replacement or a refund.

The product must be returned in its original condition, with all labels attached and in packaging that has not been damaged. It must not have been washed or used. It must be returned together with all accompanying documents, such as the retail receipt or invoice.

In the event of a return, please contact us by telephone at +30 210 6048247 so that we can provide you with instructions regarding the return shipment.

Texi will cover the return shipping costs in the event of an error on our part or if the product is defective. In all other cases, return shipping costs shall be borne by the customer.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

We hereby inform you that, in accordance with Law 2251/1994, as amended and currently in force, consumers have a period of fourteen (14) calendar days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving any reason, and we will refund the amount paid.

For sales contracts, the withdrawal period expires fourteen (14) calendar days from the day on which the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the goods.

You may exercise your right of withdrawal by making any clear statement expressing your decision to withdraw from the contract.

The right of withdrawal provided for under Articles 3e to 3ia for distance contracts and contracts concluded outside business premises does not apply in the following cases:

contracts for services after the service has been fully performed, where performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and with the consumer’s acknowledgement that they will lose their right of withdrawal once the contract has been fully performed by the supplier;
the supply of goods or provision of services whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market which cannot be controlled by the supplier and which may occur during the withdrawal period;
the supply of goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized;
the supply of goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene and which have been unsealed after delivery;
the supply of goods which, after delivery, according to their nature, become inseparably mixed with other items;
the supply of alcoholic beverages, the price of which was agreed at the time the sales contract was concluded, but delivery of which can only take place after 30 days and whose actual value depends on fluctuations in the market which cannot be controlled by the supplier;
contracts under which the consumer has specifically requested a visit from the supplier for the purpose of carrying out urgent repairs or maintenance. If, during such a visit, the supplier provides services in addition to those specifically requested by the consumer or supplies goods other than replacement parts necessarily used in carrying out the maintenance or repairs, the right of withdrawal shall apply to those additional services or goods;
the supply of sealed audio or video recordings or sealed computer software which have been unsealed after delivery;
the supply of newspapers and periodicals, with the exception of subscription contracts for the supply of such publications;
contracts concluded at a public auction;
the provision of accommodation other than for residential purposes, transport of goods, car rental services, catering or services related to leisure activities, where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance;
the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, where performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgement that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.

Please note that the seller is liable for actual defects and for the lack of agreed-upon characteristics in accordance with Articles 534 et seq. of the Greek Civil Code.

Consumer rights are protected by the relevant provisions of Law 2251/1994 on Consumer Protection (Government Gazette A' 191/16.11.1994), as currently in force.

For any matter not expressly covered by these terms of use, the applicable legislation shall apply.

PAYMENT METHODS

CASH ON DELIVERY

You may order the products you wish and pay by cash on delivery.

In this case, payment is made upon delivery of the products to your address, and the cash-on-delivery fee is €2.70.

PAYPAL

During the order checkout process, you will be redirected to the secure PayPal website associated with your account.

CREDIT CARD

During the checkout process, you will be redirected to a secure website operated by EUROBANK.

There, you will enter your card details and complete the payment.

Once the payment has been successfully completed, you will be redirected back to www.texi.gr and we will be notified by the bank that the payment has been successfully processed.

Please note that www.texi.gr does not store credit card numbers in any way.

Your credit card will be charged on the day you are informed of the delivery time of your order.

Upon delivery of the products, you may be asked to present the credit card used for the purchase and your identity card.

BANK TRANSFER

Payment must be made to one of the bank accounts listed below, and proof of payment must be sent by email to info@texi.gr.

The products will be shipped once the bank has confirmed receipt of the payment.

Note: If you select products that are available upon special order from abroad or products in custom dimensions (e.g. custom-sized bathroom enclosures), a 50% deposit of the total value will be required by bank transfer, with the remaining balance payable upon delivery of the goods.
